Cindy Davis was born in Texas in 1957, but her family moved to Tanzania in 1968 where her parents served as missionaries. Creating art in some form has been a part of her life as far back as she can remember. Whether in Tanzania with her family or on the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley in Kenya where she attended boarding school, Cindy found artistic inspiration in the exotic scenery, people, and wildlife unique to that area of the world.
